A Sort Your Shit Day (SYSD) is a deep dive into what you want from your business, where you see yourself in a year or two and what tangible actions you need to take to get there.

This service is for you if you know that you need stronger business foundations but everything feels messy, too hard, or even… embarrassing.

You need a Sort Your Shit Day if…

  • Your business feels messy, and hard, or there are feelings of shame bubbling up because you “should” have this sorted

  • There is a big gap between where you are now and where you want to be in a year or two

  • You don’t have a good grasp on your numbers

  • You feel like things are all over the place and you just can’t get a handle on them

Examples of things we could work through

  • mapping out a workflow and identifying areas for refinement

  • enhancing your customer journey to make it as easy as possible to convert your leads into clients

  • reviewing/optimising your Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or implementing new ones so that your team of staff or contractors are all on the same page

  • assessing your productivity tools and systems, to maximise your time and income potential

  • figuring out which of your applications need to be talking to each other (AKA automation) to reduce repetitive admin tasks

  • understanding how to read financial reports or get the most out of your Xero so that you know exactly what is happening with your numbers

  • knowing where to start with outsourcing and who to go to for help, so you can grow your business

How does it work?

This is not a “quick fix” it’s a strategic work plan, a sustainable way forward to see real change in your business. I’ll send you some pre-work to complete - don’t worry it only takes 30mins but if you don’t get to it before your allocated day we can go through it together.

We'll collaborate on a set day, with a morning check-in and an afternoon wrap-up. You won't need to be available for the whole day, but I'll require answers to questions as I work (and occasional two-factor verification codes for account access).

I’ll give you notes from the day so you have a copy of what we covered, and you can choose to make changes yourself or hire me to implement them for you.

What will a SYSD change in your business?

I tackle your biggest challenges in just one day, getting you back on track to achieve amazing results. Optional monthly or quarterly check-ins provide ongoing support.

What are the outcomes?

You'll have breathing room to plan a holiday or take some time off, knowing that you have clear business processes in place and things won’t fall apart without you!

By the end of the SYSD, we'll resolve a significant pain point, providing you with a clear plan to prevent it from reoccurring.

With this task completed, you'll have space to focus on scaling up your business, delegating tasks to contractors or staff, and working ON your business instead of IN it.

What happens after we’ve had a SYSD?

After your SYSD we will discuss whether you require monthly or quarterly support from me to nail any actions identified during your SYSD but to make sure that you can hit the ground running you’ll have five business days to email me with any questions, and I'll respond within 24 hours.

 Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, but not on consecutive days.

  • A day is typically 9am-5pm, allowing time for breaks. You only need to be available for the agreed times to jump on calls with me. If we’re meeting in person, this can be reduced to allow for some online work before/after.

  • The main roadblock is me not being given access to all relevant applications or you not being available for queries throughout the day. I will address these as they arise, and you will have the option to postpone if major technical issues get in the way.

  • Possibly, depending on my schedule.

  • Nope! You can add me as a user to most applications if you prefer. If you share passwords with me, I will store them securely in an encrypted password manager. I will delete them once our work is complete unless you book more time with me. You can read my full Terms and Conditions here.

  • Yes, we can discuss what works best for you.

  • Reminders about how to use the new systems/processes, where to find things, and queries about the specific topics we discussed that might have been missed from the notes.

  • You can book the following:

    • Another SYSD, if we have identified multiple large projects that need tackling.

    • Monthly or quarterly consulting packages (bespoke retainer for your unique needs).

    • One-off consulting call to step through the implementation of systems/processes.

  • That’s okay! Some clients never need ongoing support, they just need help with set up. I will identify the tasks you can manage yourself, the tasks you should outsource and to whom, so you can hit the ground running on that as a priority. However, my recommendation is to keep the momentum going and commit to a work plan with me for the next 3-6 months where possible. You can also book a one-off consulting call to get my advice and recommendations any time. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing!
